PICUS, SPIC and the other command roles are not separate entry types. You pick them in the Role field of a normal flight entry. Two things decide how the time is credited: the role you pick, and whether the entry has a signature.

PICUS

Open the flight, tap Role and pick PICUS in the Training section of the role picker.

Once the entry has a signature, the PICUS time counts as EASA PIC time in your reports, exports and the ATPL progress tracker. You don’t have to do anything else.

Until it is signed, we count the time as co-pilot time. Get the commander’s signature in person or with a remote sign-off link. As soon as the signature is on the entry, the time moves to PIC.

SPIC

SPIC works the same way. Set your role to SPIC and get the entry signed. Until it is signed, the time counts as dual instruction, so it is in your logbook but not yet in the PIC column. A remote sign-off link works here too.

Cruise relief co-pilot (CRCP)

If you fly as cruise relief, set your role to Cruise Relief Co-pilot. Jetlog calculates the credited time with the Part-FCL formula, based on block time and the number of crew. It counts as co-pilot time and does not need a signature. Under FCL.510.A at most 250 hours of cruise relief count towards the 1,500 hours total and the 500 hours multi-pilot requirement for the ATPL. The ATPL progress tracker applies that cap for you.

Instructor (FI) time

When you instruct, pick Flight Instructor in the Instructor / Examiner section of the role picker. The time is logged as PIC time and as instructor time. It does not need a signature.

Multi-pilot time

Multi-pilot time is not a role. Jetlog sets it from the aircraft’s ICAO type: if the type is certified for multi-pilot operations, the entry shows a Multi-pilot tile in its logged hours. If that is wrong for a flight, tap the Multi-pilot tile on the entry and change it there.

Checking your totals

The ATPL progress tracker shows your progress on the three PIC routes: (i) 500 h PICUS, (ii) 250 h as PIC and (iii) 250 h including at least 70 h as PIC. PICUS and SPIC entries only count there once they are signed. If a total looks too low, check for unsigned entries first.
